Threat modeling is a team sport. Learn how to invite colleagues, manage permissions, and collaborate effectively on threat models in Threatcl Cloud.

Organization Roles

Threatcl Cloud uses role-based access control with four roles:

Owner

Full Access

Complete control over the organization including billing, settings, and member management.

Admin

High Access

Manage members and all resources (threat models, libraries). Cannot manage billing.

Member

Standard Access

Create and edit threat models, view all resources, and use existing libraries.

Viewer

Read Only

Read-only access to threat models and libraries. Ideal for auditors and stakeholders.

Inviting Team Members

Step 1: Navigate to Members

Go to your Organization page, and scroll down to the Members list.

Step 2: Send an Invitation

Click "Invite Member" and enter the email address and role for the person you're inviting.

Step 3: They Accept

The invitee will receive an email with a link to join your organization. Once they click the link and sign up (or log in), they'll be added with the role you specified.

Note: Invitations expire after 7 days. You can resend expired invitations from the Members page.

Managing Members

Owners and Admins can manage members:

  • Change roles ‐ Click the role dropdown next to a member's name to update their access level.
  • Remove members ‐ Click "Remove" to revoke access. Their created threat models remain in the organization.
